Kangkong King's story began with a simple yet profound love for snacking, sparked in the heart of their founder, Frank Gaw.
What started as a humble yet beloved appetizer in restaurants took on new life when Frank saw its untapped potential. With vision and determination, he transformed crispy kangkong (water spinach) into a unique and irresistible snack, offering it in a variety of sizes and flavors!
In June 2019, Kangkong King made its debut at a local bazaar, where it was met with overwhelming warmth and enthusiasm. Just four months later, in September 2019, we proudly opened our first kiosk at Robinsons Place Manila.
Today, we stand as pioneers, operating the first HACCP-Certified kangkong chips facility in the world. From a simple yet cherished Filipino snack, we have turned crispy kangkong into a global delight, sharing the rich flavors of the Philippines with the world. Our journey is a testament to passion, innovation, and the belief that even the simplest joys can unite people everywhere.
